Celtic Wheel of the Year Series 2020-2021
An Exploration and Celebration of the Earth’s Natural Cycles
Cindy L. McGinley
Attend this series either on-site or online! Your choice! Classes will be live interactive on Zoom. Just let me know which option you prefer when you register.
There is no doubt that we need to “get back to nature” and return to living in sync with the natural cycles of the earth. Even scientific studies are revealing that time in the natural world is good for the human psyche. To that end, I invite you to join me for an exploration of the Celtic Wheel of the Year, the days with which our Celtic ancestors marked the turning of the year in alignment with the natural cycles of the Northern Hemisphere. These “feast” days are still observed by many modern Celtic spiritual practitioners. Join us for a series of classes following the natural cycle of the year, focusing mainly on historic and modern Irish/Scottish customs related to the observance of each day. Because of scheduling, we will begin in the middle, at May Day/Beltaine (observed on May 1), and work our way through the year, learning about the cultural and spiritual significance of each fire festival and cross-quarter day. Brief ceremonies designed to both honor Celtic heritage and celebrate the season will be shared.
You will come away from this workshop series with a deep understanding of the cycles of nature from a Celtic perspective and much ancestral wisdom to incorporate into your personal life.
Pre-registration required (space is limited). Registration deadline: April 15th.
I would normally charge $600 for this 8-part series.
But since this combined online & onsite teaching is experimental (to me), I am offering this course at a reduced price.
