South African Shaman Presentation with John Lockley

John Lockley, South African Xhosa Sangoma, will be giving a presentation at the RoseHeart Center for those who are interesting in learning about South African indigenous culture and spirituality. John has been working with his Xhosa teacher for 17 years. He is a medicine man of the Xhosa tribe and one of the only white men in recent history to earn the title of Senior Sangoma. He will be elaborating on the core essence of Nelson Mandela’s philosophy, which comes from heart of Mandela’s people, the Xhosa people. This philosophy is called “ubuntu,” which means “humanity,” and it is a good message and way of living to adopt for our changing times. Come to learn, have fun, and expand your horizons!
