A Year-Long Course for Dedicants
C. L. McGinley, well- known among modern Druids as “TopazOwl,” is offering a rare opportunity at The RoseHeart Center beginning in November 2013: an apprenticeship in Keltrian Druidism. Keltrian Druids practice a modern form of Druidism derived from ancient Irish/Scottish traditions. Keltrian Druids honored the Ancestors, revere the Nature Spirits, and celebrate the Gods and Goddesses of the Irish pantheon.
The two-hour classes will meet on the first Saturday of each month for one year from 3 – 5 p.m., with assigned readings and activities between meetings. Topics to be covered are Druid History, Ancestors, Nature Spirits, Gods and Goddesses of the Pagan Irish, the mechanics of Keltrian Druid Ritual, Celtic Cosmology, Druid Theology, Celtic Myth and Legend, the importance of the native language, and much more! Additionally, attendance at and participation in a minimum of nine training rituals (scheduled throughout the year) is required.
Cindy is President Emeritus of the Henge of Keltria and a Ring of the Oak Druid. She has been a practicing Keltrian Druid for over 20 years. She founded Garrán an Eich Órbhuí (Grove of the Golden Horse), a chartered Keltrian Grove near Syracuse, NY, and acts as the Grove’s Chief Druid. She is considered a Seer in the Irish tradition, or one with the “second sight.” Cindy is also a shamanic practitioner with roots in the Irish, Native American, and Amazonian traditions. She teaches classes and workshops in Shamanism, Druidism, and stress management. With certifications in health coaching and hypnosis, she also offers shamanic counseling, shamanic healing, and soul coaching. A former classroom teacher and horseback riding instructor, she lives on a farm with three horses, a deer, and a cat named Ted. She’s also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.

A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 will hold your place, with the remainder of full payment due at the end of the first class. This arrangement helps the instructor to know how many students to expect, and perhaps more importantly, who is committed to the completion of the journey.
The Dedicant earns a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course, plus the right to petition the Council of Elders for Initiation. (However, this course does NOT guarantee acceptance for initiation into the Order of the Henge of Keltria.)
