Resilience for Healers
with Karl Schlotterbeck, MA, CAS, LP
Time: 1 – 4 pm
RoseHeart Center
Healers of all kinds face particular stresses that can result in reduced effectiveness, errors in judgment and burnout. The effects of stress can reduce our resilience, health, relationships and spirituality.
In this three-hour seminar, using foundations of HeartMath, biofeedback and hypnosis, we will identify some of those stressors, explore research-based approaches that will help restore one’s passion for the profession, techniques known to reduce stress in the moment, as well as establish a more coherent foundation for more effective problem-solving.
This is a seminar with a focus on both science and practical application to each participant’s unique life. Participants will have an opportunity to view real-time changes in heart-rhythm coherence through a computerized feedback program used for research and training.
